I Believe in Movement!
Movement truly does Heal the Body, Mind and Soul!
I believe that regular, intentional, and focused movement for fitness and lifestyle helps you live a more fulfilled life. That can be as simple as an afternoon meditative walk, as focused and precise as a Pilates Private Session, or as intentional as moving through a Tai Chi Form. Fitness can be performed as intensely as you wish, but I tend to lean more towards the benefits of a restorative fitness approach. A restorative fitness approach doesn’t mean easy. The simplest looking movement done with correct form, alignment and control, can be very difficult, but it's performed with breathe and flow. Work is definitely involved, and the benefits are well earned. These benefits include strength, flexibility, mobility, body awareness and proprioception, better balance, good posture, an improved mental outlook, becoming pain-free, and the ability to live the active lifestyle you wish to live.
So, let’s get you breathing, focusing on your mind-body connection, and moving with your best alignment and form. We will breathe through the work, laugh a little along the way, and learn more about ourselves than we may have ever thought we would. My guidance and instruction (as my clients say) is gentle yet firm, and offered with a kind smile. Let's get you moving!
